Since 2008 CBBS has been providing boiler and burner services to clients all over Canberra and the surrounding region, CBBS has held maintenance contracts similar to this RFT, including maintenance and repairs of heating and hot water boilers at all Territory and Municipal Services (TaMS) buildings for the ACT Government, Spotless Defence Campuses and the National Gallery of Australia.

CBBS has a proven record of performance for providing service which is proactive and developing solutions for our clients which maximises equipment life, reduces energy consumption and minimises environmental impacts.

CBBS owns and operates from an industrial unit in Fyshwick. At this unit CBBS operates a range of industrial equipment including:

  • Colchester Master 2500 Lathe
  • Bridgeport Milling Machine
  • Fully equipped welding bay (Mig/Tig equipment)

This range of equipment enables CBBS combustion engineers to customise Type B Gas Appliances to meet current regulatory requirements and operate at greatest efficiency.

CBBS carries a comprehensive stock of spare parts and maintain software to monitor control conditions for fault finding and trending, there is also loan equipment available should a problem arise that we are unable to repair.

CBBS stocks a comprehensive range of spares part for all major brands, including the following:

  • Flame and ignition rods
  • Ignition transformers
  • LMV 52 burner management board
  • SQM high torque modulating motor
  • AGA power transformer
